    "Celebrating 50 Years of Soccer"

    Homecoming 2010 is the perfect time to "come home" and enjoy the many activities planned for the weekend of Oct. 15-17. There have been MANY changes to campus and you don’t want to miss this opportunity to join friends for a fun-filled weekend of athletics, tailgating, a 5K fun run and so much more!

    This year at Homecoming we are focusing on "50 Years of Soccer" at Benedictine College. The following will be inducted into the Hall of Fame:

    John Casey, '74 (posthumously)
    Tom Gorczyca, '77
    Greg Vitello, '68

    John Casey, ‘74, who recently passed away, was a successful coach and player at BC.  Tom Gorczyca, ’77,  is one of the top soccer players in BC history and still holds the single-season and single game goal scoring records.  Greg Vitello, ‘68 was a standout soccer goalie and baseball player at BC and went on to a very successful coaching career at Desmet High School in St. Louis.  He is one of the all time leaders in high school games won in soccer and has won state titles in both soccer and baseball.
